SER reminds Govt of its advice on dump, calls for speedy sollution

HARBORVIEW—Given its institutional role, the Social Economic Council (SER) initiated a review of indirect taxation because this would be valuable for the social economic development of Sint Maarten. The SER concluded that the current indirect tax model, Turnover Tax, has shortcomings in compliance, extent of coverage and economic impact.
SER celebrates 5th anniversary
HARBOR VIEW—The Social Economic Council (SER) celebrated its 5th anniversary on Thursday, May 27th, 2016. The SER was established on October 10th, 2010 when Sint Maarten attained country status within the Dutch Kingdom.
SER Suriname visits counterpart
