The Board

The council consists of three independent experts, three representatives from employees organizations, and three representatives from employers organizations. All board members have a substitute member. The independent experts are nominated by the Government of Sint Maarten. The employee representatives on the council are nominated by the Windward Island Chamber of Labor Unions (WICLU). The employer representatives are represented by two organizations. The Sint Maarten Small Properties Association (SMSPA) nominated one member. The Employer Council of Sint Maarten (ECSM) nominated two members.
